The sights , sounds, tastes, and people of New Orleans made our trip to the ASA National Conference one of the most enjoyable and successful work trips yet for AFYI. Michelle Reedy and myself, Joyce Benjamin, met with so many dynamic mothers, fathers, grandparents, teachers, ASA Chapter members, business owners, and volunteers. It was a great opportunity to enjoy the hospitality of New Orleans and network with others. We met with people from New Orleans, South Carolina, and Texas who were excited to bring the registry to their area. And the highlight of my trip was meeting with Muse Watson, versatile actor and parent of a child with autism. I know him as Mike Franks, Gibbs best friend from NCIS, but you may know him as any number of other characters. I want to thank his wife for sharing his time and attention with us. Our trip was filled with rainbows as you can see.
