We met with Dr. Abilla Tazanu yesterday to introduce ourselves personally and to meet the ED of One World Center for Autism. We learned about the great work she and her staff are doing for the Autism Community of Prince George’s County. She is a Pediatrician doing testing and screening for children suspected of being on the Autism Spectrum. She has many wonderful programs for the families as well as those on the Autism Spectrum, educating them to the many hurdles and challenges encountered with a diagnosis of ASD.
We are excited to be a part of their Embrace our World Multicultural Autism Awareness Celebration on April 30 from 12-3 at Prince George’s Community College. Prince George’s County is very lucky to have her organization to turn to for help and support of their Autism Community. We look forward to partnering with them in our support of those with ASD.
